ALISE

Hi, I’m Alise from Latvia. I have understood that I need a different experience and here I am taking this opportunity. I believe that for now I have found my way and it certainly guides me towards volunteering in Africa.
It might become a direction of creativeness that will allow me to share my knowledge and my time with those who haven’t got that much. I am willing to achieve and understand more through this experience of sharing and showing…
LIFE can simply be an inspiration. (Alise has been in Mozambique)
DAINA

Hi! My name is Daina. I am from Latvia. When I was a kid I was watching lot of movies about Africa. Now the time is come to see everything by myself and made my own conclusions about this mysterious place. I want to learn things from life in real situations, not only pictures, books or movies. And yes, I really want to help others if I can do it. Africa is the best place where I can share my knowledge and also learn from there a lot! Who knows, maybe after a while people will watch a movie about me and my life and experience in Africa :D.
I really want to use this opportunity to learn lot of new things, deal with problems and I want to change my way of thinking which actually Is changing already here in Lindersvold. One friend told me “why are you trying to do something? You can't alone "repair" and change the whole world”.
But still I’m trying and I will do at least something to make this a better place! (Daina has been in Zambia)
DANIELE

Ciao! I’m Daniele and I come from Italy!! My dream is to work with help to Development. During my life I did several things and every time I found lots of interesting people with their concept of life, world help. All this experiences make me realize that the important thing is to work for what you really want... “Awe binds me fast; tear upon tear falls burning, My stern heart feels a gentle, tender thrill; What I possess, as if far off I'm seeing, And what has vanished, now comes into being.” (J.W. Goethe)
(Daniele has been in Mozambique. Now he's in Camp Future in Denmark)
JEAN-ROBERT

Hi, my name is Jean-Robert, I am from Romania and I decided to join this program, mainly because I am interested in development work. This is a great opportunity to see and to experience how development work is done and at the same time, to make a difference, in my life, and in the community where I will work as Development Instructor.
(Jean-Robert has been in Mozambique. Now he is in Camp Future in UK)
JOSE

Hi, I'm José Martins and I come from Portugal. Being a volunteer was always in my mind, but because of many reason I'd never could do it before. Now I find time to go to Africa and share my knowledge and my skills with the others, special the one's who need more. (Jose has been in Mozambique)
MACIEK

Hi, my name is Maciek and I am from Poland. To be honest I was never thinking before about joining this kind of program. But after finishing my university, when I was thinking what to do next with my life, I found an advertisement about volunteering work in Africa. And I thought - why not? It can give me a chance to meet new people from all over Europe, strengthen my English, learn new skills and abilities, gain knowledge about the situation in developing countries, and above all give a helping hand to those who need it most - in particular to people in Africa. And all these experiences can also be an advantage in my future search for employment.
(As Development Instructor, Maciek has been in Zambia. After finishing his Camp Future in Denmark he decided to go back.)
(Now he lives in Kalomo)
SILVIA

Hi! I am Silvia from Barcelona, Spain. Since some years ago I was thinking in doing a volunteering, and now I’m preparing myself as a Development Instructor in Lindersvold. So in a few months I will be in an African country, offering my help and my knowledge to people who really need it. I am sure that it will be also a way to grow as a person, while I’m helping other people, I will also learn from them.
(Silvia has been in Mozambique. Now she's in Camp Future in UK)
